Entries for the Sanlam Cape Mile, the Western Cape’s most exciting open water swim, will open on Saturday, 01 October 2016.
Returning to the majestic Eikenhof Dam at the Grabouw Country Club on Sunday, 19 February 2017 entrants can choose between an exhilarating 1 mile (1.6km) and a refreshing 500m swim.

In 2015 the Sanlam Cape Mile boasted with close to 1000 entrants, while in 2016 the number was boosted to just over 1500. We are excited to continue this trend in 2017. Together with the support of Sanlam and Speedo we look forward to welcoming swimmers to the Western Cape’s most exciting open water swim.”
