At EverFit, we stand behind the quality of our products. This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through our website and is subject to the provisions of the South African Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 ("CPA").
1. Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind after receiving your Grip Trainer, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided that:
- The product is unused and in its original condition.
- The product is returned in its original packaging.
- All accessories, manuals, and included items are returned.
- The product shows no signs of wear, damage, misuse, or alteration.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.
Once the returned item has been inspected and approved, a refund will be processed, less any applicable shipping or handling costs incurred by EverFit.
2. Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is:
- Defective,
- Damaged during delivery, or
- Incorrectly supplied,
please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product and provide:
- Your order number,
- A description of the issue,
- Clear photographs showing the defect or damage.
Where a product is confirmed to be defective or incorrectly supplied, EverFit will, at its discretion and in accordance with the CPA:
- Repair the product,
- Replace the product, or
- Provide a refund.
Return shipping costs for approved defective products will be covered by EverFit.
3. Products Not Eligible for Return
Returns may be refused if:
- The product has been misused, abused, modified, or altered.
- Damage resulted from improper use, storage, or handling.
- The product shows excessive wear beyond normal inspection.
- The product was purchased from a third-party reseller and not directly from EverFit.
- The return request falls outside the applicable return period.
4. Inspection of Returned Products
All returned products are inspected upon receipt.
If a returned item does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy, EverFit reserves the right to:
- Reject the return,
- Return the product to the customer at the customer's expense, or
- Apply a reasonable handling or restocking fee where permitted by law.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Please allow up to 10 business days after approval for the refund to reflect, depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Consumer Rights Under the CPA
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights granted to consumers under the South African Consumer Protection Act.
Consumers retain all rights relating to defective goods, including the implied warranty of quality provided by Section 56 of the CPA.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Grip Trainer is intended for general fitness and hand-strength training purposes.
Users are responsible for ensuring that the product is used safely and according to any instructions provided.
EverFit shall not be liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from:
- Improper use of the product,
- Failure to follow instructions,
- Product modifications,
- Use outside the intended purpose of the product.
This limitation does not exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by South African law.
